THOUGHTS ON THE ROLES WE PLAY.
The other day I started thinking about a poster I had to make in a Psych class while attending Cal Poly University. It had to consist of all the little things I did or thought about myself.  When completed, the proffessor's final verdict was "you have just made a statement on being a mother."
I thought that odd at the time, and partly still do.  The fact remains though, that we all take on many roles as we progress through life.
Now I would like to take a little time to examine these, if you will.
We may start out as a baby, but it does not take long for us to become a child and a student(role 1).  From there we grow to be teenagers, taking on all kinds of duties and extra curricular activities.  By adulthood, we have already assumed many roles - daughter/son, student/teacher, possibly parenthood as examples.
Think of all the roles we are now assuming in our adult lives.  Our titles alone are becoming numerous - son/daughter, Aunt/Uncle, Grandchild, friend/mentor, parent, possibly student, always a teacher to someone be it your own or others, helper/needing help.
Let's see if I can come up with a few roles we assume in a lifetime!  We do not need to get certificates for them, but the job descriptions are just the same as if we did.
How many times have you had to be the Dr. or Nurse at home?
How often have you been the Banker, or made investments?
Who has been the coach for some sport?
What about Secretarial work at home?
Obviously someone has been a Cook. a dishwasher, the Laundry person, the housekeeper, the "go-ffer", the yard maintenance person.

Let's add a few more  -  how about Chauffeur, Interior Decorator, Computer Expert, Salesperson?
You get the idea!!!  I am quite sure you all can add to this list.

Well what do you think?  Do you agree this just spells out  MOTHER!

If this is the case, then all Mother's    TAKE A BOW!

we must be  VERY TALENTED PEOPLE
